Priory Belvoir Academy is committed to providing our students with excellent careers guidance and information across both key stages. We aim to provide high quality, careers based education across the curriculum.
As well as providing students with professional careers guidance about their choice Post-16, we are committed to providing a rich culture of education, information and advice both pastorally and academically. This comprises of ‘drop down’ careers days, a whole school careers fair, developing face-to-face interview techniques with local employers and assisting students with the creation of high quality CVs and letters of application. Students know that they have been supported with their choices; allowing them to reflect on how their education at Priory Belvoir has prepared them for their ‘next steps’
In addition to this, we are delighted to have the support and guidance of The Leicester and Leicestershire Enterprise Partnership (LLEP).
The LLEP is a strategic body led by a Board made up of local government and business leaders as well as senior education and third sector representatives. The LLEP Board draws upon the expertise of senior leaders from the sectors mentioned and all of the Board Members’ time is given on a voluntary and unpaid basis. The LLEP’s remit is to drive forward regeneration and growth of the local economy, by working with us to develop our careers provision here at the Priory Belvoir Academy, this being just one strand of their role.
