We are extremely proud that our results for 2019 once again puts us significantly above the national average for the progress of our students.
Progress 8 and Attainment 8 Scores
- Progress 8 Score = +0.30
- Attainment 8 Score = 47.6
Progress 8 measures the average progress a student makes in from Key Stage 2 to Key Stage 4 in eight subjects. A progress 8 score of 0 is the national average. Therefore the school's Progress 8 score of + 0.30 means that our students performed approximately a third of a grade above national average in all eight subjects.
Percentage of pupils who achieved grade 5+ and 4+ in English and Mathematics at the end of Key Stage 4
- 4+ = 65% (equivalent to an old grade C)
- 5+ = 35% (equivalent to an old high C/low B grade)
96% of pupils went onto college or further training.
